From the 1st to 3rd of July, we have for you over nine varieties of these yellow and green mangoes to tempt each corner of your tongue. We call you to join us in a celebrations of our Mango Festival.
Mango is revered as the “fruit of immortality” as per the Jain tradition and Mango groves were housed Buddha and his disciples. “The King of fruits” Mango was a created by Lord Shiva himself and is a symbol of fertility and abundance.
During your visit indulge your senses and enrich your cuisine profile with hands on cooking classes during the Mango festival and see the mango harvests transform into incredible organic dishes.Stomach full and drowsy eyed, you rest in Navdanya’s Amarapalli Eco-huts, surrounded by quiet mango laden fruits.
So don’t miss the opportunity to celebrate summer traditionally, beneath the leafy canopy of Navdanya’s organic orchards in the Doon valley.
