While approximately 18,000 people attended the Expo over the 3-day period in 2013, all indications are that this 4th annual event will have an attendance of passionate ‘pure food’ enthusiasts exceeding 20,000! We invite you to be a part of the fun and educational festivities on September 9, 10, and 11, at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds in Santa Rosa, California. The ‘Expo’, with its integral educational components, is again guaranteed to influence the way people view our food and our sustainable future.
This event differs from most other events in that it provides ample opportunity for attendee participation. In addition to experiencing our amazing line-up of educational speakers, attendees may involve themselves with group discussions, food tastings, volunteer opportunities, and much more. We encourage everyone to become involved and experience the Expo to its fullest. The Expo is also a not-for-profit event that benefits schools and school garden programs, and your support is greatly appreciated.
We have an outstanding lineup of more than 100 nationally and internationally renowned food, farm and garden related speakers that will impress even the most discerning. They include Dr. Joseph Mercola, a New York Times bestselling author and health advocate; Vani Hari, a health and food activist who teaches people how to make good food purchasing decisions, how to live an organic lifestyle, and how to travel healthfully around the world; Jeffery Smith, one of the leading experts on the subject of GMOs and the dangers they pose to human health and the environment; Percy Schmeiser, a Canadian farmer who was sued by Monsanto after the chemical company’s Roundup ready canola contaminated his canola crop; Andrew Kimbrell, founder and executive director of the Center for Food Safety, and many more.
Make plans to join more than 350 vendors and exhibitors, numerous great old-time musicians, and celebrated chefs for this renowned event that gains momentum each year from the enthusiastic energy of participants with a passion for pure food, organic gardening, and natural living.
