Sustainable Living Film Festıval – Turkey

Two films produced by Navdanya “The Living Seed” and “The Living Soil” will be screened in 20 cities across Turkey as part of this year’s edition of the Sustainable Living Film Festival (SLFF). The films are based on the testimonies of farmers, seed savers, agronomist and scientists from across India, as well as from indigenous farming cultures abroad. Turkish subtitles translation was kindly provided by Ilknur Urkun.

The Festival is at its 9th edition and based on the dream that a collaborative, open, fair and understanding society which embraces diversity and values life on planet is possible. It has now spread over 20 cities and has become a gathering that gives strength and inspiration to participants to create change in their lives. This year the festival will be held on 18-20 November under the leadership of Sustainable Living Collective, in cooperation with and Butterfly Effect Association for Sustainable Living.

Is the world going for better or worse? We do not know the answer to this question, yet we know we live in a period in which we need to hear stories of kindness and ponder the good more than ever. In its ninth year, “Sustainable Living Film Festival” organized by the voluntary efforts of the Sustainable Living Collective, aims to make these stories visible through documentaries.
