Capture2On 15 and 16 October 2016, more than 30 witnesses, lawyers and experts from around the world gathered at the International Monsanto Tribunal in The Hague to present their testimony on the impact of Monsanto’s practices to five judges from different continents.

This unprecedented international mobilization allowed witnesses and experts to provide a large amount of material related to the damage caused by Monsanto. The judges have conducted a thorough and rigorous review of these elements during the twenty-six weeks since the hearings.

• human rights violation such as the right to health, the right to food, the right to a healthy environment and scientific freedom,
• allegations of complicity in war crimes (Agent Orange – Vietnam War),
• the crime of ecocide (which remains to be modeled and enshrined in international law).
