Join The Growing Home in welcoming Water Harvester Extraordinaire Leigh Adams for our September Potluck. Leigh Adams will be be showing you how water conservation and growing food go hand-in-hand. With California’s drought and increasing food prices it’s become more vital than ever to grow your own food. Leigh will help you dispel the myth that growing food takes a tremendous amount of water. With enough planning and preparation you can save water while growing your own food!
This potluck will be a great place to bring a date, family, and friends, while learning valuable information in a community atmosphere. You will have a chance to take a tour of the Pomona College Organic Farm, meet local vendors in our Sustainability Marketplace, & add to our Local Food Shed Map. And lets not forget an incredible array of food from all of our guests too!
